Surrey County Council placemaking team update on the upcoming public engagement session-
This will be a public event to showcase the new designs of Cranleigh High Street. We have been working with designers to get the High Street designs presentable for public viewing as well as working with Cranleigh Arts Centre.
The event will take place at Cranleigh Arts Centre on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th November 3pm – 8pm on both days.
Log onto the Cranleigh website here.
They will be sharing the new designs online on Monday 6th November. If you have not done so already, please enter your email address on the Cranleigh website to be notified when they upload the new designs.
Following the two events the designs will be available to view online and in Cranleigh library for a week. They will also print some copies of the designs and take them to Cranleigh Arts Centre.
Surrey County Council staff will be in Cranleigh High Street Friday 27th October to drop some leaflets into the local shops promoting this event.
On Monday 30th October they will start advertising the public engagement session on social media, if you would like to do the same then please do.
They are proposing making changes to Cranleigh High Street to improve road safety and make it a nicer space for residents and visitors.
All are welcome to go and see the updated plans in person and chat to a member of the team at the engagement sessions:
