Cranleigh Civic Society was set up by residents on 9 October 2014 in response to the huge threat to our village by the deluge of planning applications being submitted for residential development on Cranleigh’s Green Fields, with little to no investment in infrastructure.

We hold public meetings in the Band Room, Village Way, Cranleigh.

More about the Cranleigh Society

We are a members’ organisation, run entirely by volunteers and are involved in a number of key areas in our village.

If these are areas that you think are important too please join us in “Speaking up for Cranleigh”

You Must Report Sewage Incidents!

Thames Water does not automatically inform Waverley Borough Council, or the Environment Agency when there is a sewage leak.

It is up to residents to report sewage incidents to Thames Water (24-hour customer service team on 0800 316 9800 or 0800 0093960)

Other helpful numbers: Thames Water leaks (Operations team) – 0800 3169800

You also need to contact Waverley Borough Council’s Environmental Health on 01483 523393, or email [email protected].

Finally you need to report incidents to the Environment Agency (0800 807 060),  if you think that a culvert and/or a watercourse is threatened by sewage.
